EXACTLY WHAT MOVES YOU

Starting a journey, we must take that first step. Taking steps in a 12-step program is exactly what moves us closer to knowing who we are and having a connection with GOD so we can have constant support. 

Did you know that A.A. stands for - Awareness & Acceptance.
Among other things, like Alcoholics Anonymous.

The list of deficits must be laid against the list of assets. Make your list in a ratio @ 7-assets for each deficit. My brain seams to automatically keep a record of the negative things and skips right over the positive things that would be nice to remember. Go ahead and look at and remember the good things too.

My sponsor told me that taking the steps will retrain my mind.

Negative memories take more space in our brains because there is more to process.

Positive feelings naturally release criminals or hormones that create wellness feelings. The endorphins released also some how help us to forget.

Pain and pleasure spots in the brain are next to each other in proximity.

Do I need a Memorial Stone? Can I feel happy with a stone in my pocket? I have taken that stone in my pocket and made it a memory point, because I am forgetful. (PROCRASTINATION) I still do things today that are ways to steal my joy. I don' t even think about it, it is normal to think this way.

Writing a grateful list is a tool that I have learned to use to keep my joy alive. Like food!

I can remember being obsessed with finding the perfect round rock. Just the one that is the most round lying on the ground. 

Now I have a ton of round rocks, large and small. Numbering over 250 of them.
